摘要：La portada occidental de la catedral de Jaca es analizada a la luz del debate sobre la imagen sagrada y sus limites en el arte medieval occidental. La presencia del crismon en el timpano supone una solucion desde presupuestos aniconicos al problema de la representacion de la Trinidad, enlazando con una tradición exegetica que tiene como principal figura a San Agustin. Asimismo, se sugieren nuevas claves de lectura para los capiteles de la portada en relacion con la problematica de la imagen, procurando una lectura integradora del conjunto escultorico.
其他摘要：The west portal of the cathedral of Jaca is analyzed under the debate on the sacred image and its limits in Western medieval art. The presence of the chrismon in the tympanum offers an aniconic solution to the problem of the representation of the Trinity, related to an exegetical tradition whose main defender is Saint Augustine. A number of new suggestions concerning the capitals of the portal are also proposed in connection to the “image question” in order to get a comprehensive reading of the sculptural program.
