摘要：This paper presents an overview of the current performance of the computing community in education in Brazil. This overview was drawn by analyzing the publications in the area, including Simpósio Brasileiro de Informática na Educação (SBIE) and Workshop de Informática na Educação (WIE) and journal Revista Brasileira de Informática na Educação (RBIE). All these publications were analyzed only in its last edition in 2011. The data presented enable visualizing needs and future goals for the area of computing applied to education
