  • 摘要:The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of labor conditions, internship socialization and personality traits on students’ willingness to work in the industry. The questionnaire survey method was used in this survey, with hospitality interns as the subjects, with a total of 366 effective samples. The study found that students with prior part-time work experience had a higher level of internship socialization. Male students' level of internship socialization was significantly higher than that of female students. Labor conditions encourage students to join the tourist hotel industry after graduation. All of the personality traits had positive effects on willingness to join the tourist hotel industry, with the exception of extraversion and openness, and a profound negative effect of neuroticism. Conscientiousness had a negative regulatory effect on the relationship between labor conditions and a willingness to join the industry, while agreeableness was the only personality trait that demonstrated a significant positive regulatory effect between internship socialization and willingness to join the industry. The study showed that internships do enhance a student’s ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments. Likewise, the level of internship socialization and labor conditions has a direct and positive impact on individuals’ willingness to join the industry.
