摘要:The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect learners' active participation in team based learning. The study was conducted at a government university in Turkey during 2011-2012 school year with a total of 54 early childhood teacher candidates. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected through a questionnaire and an open-ended question. According to the results, the number of people in each team has effects on team members' communication skills, attitudes toward team mates and interactions. Also, the other factors that affect team members' active participation in team-based learning are related to group dynamics, personal, communication and technological issues.
