摘要:Cooling systems based on Peltier cells have great advantages to be energized by renewable energy sources. This paper describes the optimization of operation of a heat exchanger which was located in the side cool on Peltier Cell. For this work, we performed infrared shots of the experiment in order to establish and analyze the pattern of heat distribution. Infrared results as well as boundary conditions fueled our simulation model made in finite element. We analyzed the thermal and mechanical behavior of two commercial heat exchangers and presented a proposal for an improved geometry that optimizes by 50% the surface area of the heat exchanger.
