摘要:AbstractWe present a method of smoothly connecting two different periodic orbits of linear systems. We first deal with the case when the periodic signals to be connected are of the same period and then move on to discuss the case of different periods. We use the behavioral theory as our framework to formulate the problem and present two approaches to finding a smooth transition between the periodic orbits. The first approach is a kernel method and the solution involves solving a single optimization problem. The second approach involves the use of a time warping function to reduce the problem to the situation where both functions have same period. It involves solving multiple simpler optimal control problems.
