摘要:AbstractEnergy is a holistic way of analysing multi-domain systems. By using energy, system information can be reduced to essential or dominant dynamics. This could be advantageous for the purpose of fault diagnosis. In this paper, a procedure that identifies which type of fault has occurred on a counter-flow heat exchanger and makes use of energy-visualisation is proposed. The novel methodology is achieving said energy-visualisation by using attributed graph matching. A model of a counter-flow heat exchanger is used for fault experiments. Thereafter, energy information is extracted from the model and packaged into attributed linear graphs. An attributed graph matching technique is applied to the linear graphs in order to obtain energy-visualisations for each fault. The approach of graph matching for energy-visualisation could uniquely identify three different faults.
