摘要：Resumo: Nos últimos anos têm sido repetido que a recomposição do mercado musical passa pela perda do poder da indústria de discos em prol das apresentações ao vivo em todos os níveis. Parte da euforia inicial em torno do consumo de música ao vivo estava relacionada a grandes eventos e festivais, o que reacendeu os debates em torno da importância da experiência presencial no consumo de música e da cenas como parte importante dessas articulações. Assim, parte-se do estudo de caso do Sofar Sounds (Songs From a Room), uma rede colaborativa que possibilita a realização de pequenas apresentações intimistas nas residências de músicos e fãs, para um seleto grupo de intermediários culturais. Desse modo busca-se abordar os aspectos distintivos e políticos que essas novas rotas e alternativas possuem na configuração dos modos de fazer e produzir música ao vivo Palavras-chave: Música Popular Massiva; Música ao vivo; Sofar Sounds. Abstract: In the past years, it has been repeated that the recovery of the music business involves the record industry’s decrease of power in favor of live performances. Nowadays it is possible to realize the coexistence – sometimes collaborative, sometimes contradictory – of affections around the value of music collections and shows at various scales. Undoubtedly, part of the initial euphoria surrounding the consumption of live music was related to major events and festivals, which reignited the debate about the importance of presential experience in the consumption of music and about the music scenes as an important part of those articulations. Thus, studying the case of Sofar Sounds (Songs From a Room), a collaborative network that promotes small and secret concerts in the musicians’ and fans’ homes to a selected group of cultural intermediaries. We seek to approach the distinctive and political aspects of these alternative productions as well as the impact that it has on the so-called alive music.
