其他摘要：This study assesses the system of socioeconomic study in universities. The fundamentals that guided the study were: knowledge for Professional Social Work Team, the concept of vulnerability, Permanence Management Policies and Technical Operating Instrumental used in the Socioeconomic Study. In developing the survey, it has a qualitative approach and applied nature, with descriptive multicase study. The data collection was documentary, bibliographical and was used questionnaire sent via e-mail to managers of teams of social workers from five universities. Through the information obtained, it was possible to identify the forms used for the socioeconomic study in universities. Although the adopted forms for construction of the methodologies present concern with the theoretical bases, which are mainly developed from the knowledge of Social Workers, there is not a clear definition of a theory to specific socioeconomic study.
