摘要：The Spanish refugees sailed the Caribbean Sea pursuing their fate. The Spanish Republican Exiles became frequent lecturers, gave curses and used to take part in seminars and exhibitions all over the three Hispanic Antilles. The Republican Proffesionals went first to Dominican Republic, proceeding then to Porto Rico and Cuba, sometimes acting as visiting professors, some other times just making a break in their run away looking for a better life. Their lives tell us about a chapter of the pilgrimage of this group of intellectual people. The letters they wrote tell us about their journeys, their lives and the lectures they gave, inform us about their emotions and confidences and take us back to the seas that these people felt as their seas.
