摘要：The demographic flow linking Latin America and Spain has not only consolidated during the last decades of the 20th Century, but it has changed as regards its composition. This article aims at showing that immigrants are fewer than is thought, and that their distribution in the Peninsula and the Islands is not homogeneous. Statistical sources prove that they lie behind the immigrationcommunities coming from Morocco and Europe. However, they are directly affected by the legal restrictions to the entrance of foreigners, for which reason they have developed new strategies to attain a legalized situation.
