摘要：In this paper, some methods of spatial analysis are applied to the study of a particular area of the North-west of the Iberian Peninsula during the lron Age. Some positive factors in the location of the hill-forts are discovered, and the evolutionary dynamics of the settlement patterns are studied. As a result, old ideas about certain aspects of the so-called «Castro culture» have to be revised.
