摘要：The written documents -mainly feminine- which I have studied for this article, not only highlight the important of the Christian Faith as an essential element in the creation of The New Spain, but they also present women as important transmitters of this faith. The Christian Faith according to them, implies a life style full of values, which have been passed on through the family and different institutions (schools, convents, etc.).
