摘要：The author starts from the fact that the historiography on the commerce with the Indies in XVIth century, and on the encomienda have run in parallel without considering the historical relationship existing between both realities. From there, economic contradictions aroused within that relationship are pointed out and studied until the political crisis of 1541-1543.
