摘要：Pocas obras como las Noches áticas de Aulo Gelio ofrecen una idea tan rica sobre el concepto de la erudición y las cuestiones o problemas. La naturaleza abstracta de estos conceptos, sin embargo, no impide que la articulación de sus diferentes características se haga en torno a aspectos de la realidad sensible. De esta manera, la idea de erudición y de las cuestiones se va a construir a partir de metáforas y símiles tomados de objetos tangibles como las provisiones, los bocados, las ofrendas, los nudos, el juego de dados o la mezcla y acumulación de sustancias. Asimismo, la idea de lugar tendrá su importancia a la hora de valorar, en especial la dificultad del aprendizaje. Finalmente, trataremos sobre la importante metáfora de la erudición como luz, que motiva el propio título de la obra de Gelio.↓Gellius’ Noctes Atticae is one of the best books to understand the metaphorical nature of intellectual concepts, such as eruditio and quaestiones.
