摘要：The authors discuss a group of traditional oral short stories (folk-tales) collected in the Araucanía region of the central-south section of Chile, specifically in the mountainous area of Nahuelbuta. Old European and Spanish stories are present in these Chilean narratives, characterized for being structured around the topics of naiveness and ingenuity and revealing a clear sense of humor.
