摘要：Il saggio presenta una disamina delle principali teorie che in tempi recenti hanno trasformato l’archivio da oggetto elettivo della ricerca storica e filologica a problema critico per le scienze umane, e che ne hanno indagato lo statuto e la funzione.La loro ricaduta sugli studi che hanno per oggetto la performance e la danza ha affinato gli strumenti a disposizione per seguire le tracce di quanto fino a poco tempo fa era pensato come effimero come lo spettacolo vivente.L’analisi comparata della struttura degli archivi e dalle modalità di trasmissione progettate dagli eredi che hanno gestito i lasciti materiali e immateriali di Pina Bausch e Merce Cunningham, scomparsi entrambi nel 2009, è il punto di partenza per affrontare temi come la funzione della memoria, i processi di incorporazione e la loro ricaduta sulla scrittura della storia (della danza).
其他摘要：The essay examines the main theories that in recent times have transformed the archive from the object of historical and philological research to a critical issue for the humanities, interrogating its status and function. The effect of these theories on dance and performance studies is a more sophisticated set of tools to follow the traces of something traditionally ephemeral such as a live performance. A comparative analysis of the structure of archives and the modes of transmission created by the heirs who managed the tangible and intangible heritage of Pina Bauch and Merce Cunningham, both deceased in 2009, is the starting point for an inquiry into the themes of the function of memory, the processes of incorporation and their impact on the writing of (dance) history.
