摘要：Biotechnological techniques like molecular biology, enzymes engineering, genetic engineering genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and bioinformatics etc. have helped in developing economically feasible and well designed methods in production of pulp and paper sector. Biotechnology increases the cost efficiency, develop environmentally feasible processes and improves the product quality.
