摘要：Cashew Nut Industries are mostly in small scale and cottage sector without any effective pollution abatement system. Though the pollution load from individual unit is relatively small but the magnitude of pollution problem from the cluster of units becomes very high. With this objective a study was taken up to assess the pollution problem from Cashew Seed Processing Industries. This paper deals with the assessment of Pollution load from the cashew nut processing and suggest techno-economically viable pollution control technologies, for gaseous emissions, wastewater discharge etc.
