摘要：The IEEE 802.15.4 is a wireless standard that can be used in several segments, such as residential, commercial or industrial area. From this IEEE standard it was developed the Zigbee protocol, which has been used in several areas, among them, medical, industrial control and home automation, and vehicle identification. This paper aims to present an overview of these applications, demonstrating the applicability of wireless sensor technology, with low cost, and low power consumption.
