摘要：A história das viagens tem como fonte primordial os relatos de viagem. O texto busca apresentar um panorama das viagens e de sua literatura na época moderna, confrontando os seus significados para a história das ciências naturais, para a história das sensibilidades, com a constituição da paisagem como objeto estético, e para a sociologia dos deslocamentos humanos voluntários, onde a história do turismo contemporâneo toma especial relevância. Abstract The history of the travels has sources in the narratives of travels. This text discuss the travels and their narratives through the modern period, comparing their meanings for the history of the natural sciences, and the history of sensitiveness, when the landscapes becoming an aesthetic object, and also for the sociology of human movements, where the history of contemporary tourism is an important issue.
