  • 摘要:454-Pyrosequencing was performed to analyze the prokaryotic community structure and composition in a full-scale highly polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-degrading system and a full-scale moderately PVA-degrading system as comparison. Obvious differences in the two systems were observed between the samples, and prokaryotic communities were highly functionally organized. At the class level, main subgroups of Proteobacteria (a-, p-, 5-, y-Proteobacteria) were distributed relatively evenly in the high-efficiency degradation system, while y-Proteo bacteria was the predo-minant bacterial class in the moderately-efficiency degradation system; at the genus level, Metha-nosaeta was the dominant archaeal genus in the former and may accelerate the degradation of PVA. Thus, y-Proteobacteria and Methanosaeta may be the key players contributing to high PVA-degrading efficiency.
