  • 摘要:Optimization research on the layout of sewage treatment plants connected with pumping stations and sewage pipe networks has practical significance. In this paper, a mathematical model of a complex system is described in which a sewage treatment plant connected with pumping stations and the sewage pipe network is the study object. The model is a nonlinear programming model and is solved by applying the two-level orthogonal test of the large system and the dynamic programming method for the pipe diameters. Using the model, the system can be optimized once the amount of sewage is known and the sewage pipe network layout has been set. The optimization model gives the number and optimal positions of the sewage treatment plants, the optimal working head of each sewage pumping station, and the optimal pipe diameter of each segment of the sewage pipe network. A comparative analysis was performed using the sewage treatment plant connected with the pumping stations and the sewage pipe network project in Taizhou city as an example. An obviously optimal effect can be achieved using the optimization method described in the paper. The study results provide a reference for the further theoretical study on optimization methods for planning of urban sewage treatment plants.
