  • 摘要:A novel adsorbent, Ce(BTC)(H20)6 MOFs (Ce-MOFs), for the high efficiency removal of fluoride from aqueous solution was successfully synthesized. The adsorbent was characterized and its performance in fluoride (F ) removal was evaluated for the first time. Kinetic data reveal that the F_ adsorption is rapid in the beginning followed by a slower adsorption process; nearly 45% adsorption can be achieved within 1 min and only about 21% additional removal occurred in the following 24 h. The F_ adsorption kinetics was well described by the pseudo second-order kinetic model. The calculated adsorption capacity of this adsorbent for F" by Langmuir model was 181.8 mg/g at pH 6.5. The FT-IR spectra of Ce-MOFs before and after adsorbing F" show the mechanics of F- adsorption on Ce-MOFs should be coordinated ligands interchange with fluoride.
