  • 摘要:To recycle Water hyacinth, water hyacinth was gasified in supercritical water at temperatures ranging between 673 to 823 K, in 1 〜70 min for H2 and CH4. The H2 and CH4 reached 7.33 and 5.07 mol/kg respectively at 823 K with a reaction time of 50 min and a 4.8 wt% loading. Gasification efficiency over 95% was achieved when temperatures are over 773 and times are longer than 60 min. Comparing with temperature and feed loading, the reaction time did not significantly affect on the gas yields, especially at longer times. The kinetic analysis was also explored. Due to the higher cellulose and hemicellulose and lower crude protein than algae, water hyacinth is potential as biomass resource for gasification.
