摘要:Despite the good performance of existing adsorbent in water treatment, cost-effective and innovative technologies along with environmental regulations is required nowadays. For the first time, synthesis of collagen-CuO nanoparticles (CG-CuONPs) composite bead was performed. These beads were specified by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), x-ray powder diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy, and infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). Adsorption applications, optimum condition, adsorption isotherms and kinetics for removal of cypermethrin were conducted. The optimum factors, including initial concentration, contact time, adsorbent dose and pH on the adsorption of pesticide by collagen loaded with CuO nanoparticles beads were investigated. Results showed that 0.03 g of the bionanocomposite in room temperature and pH 7 could remove 94% of the pesticides from the cypermethrin solution (25 ml, 0.125 mgL-1) by using the UV spectro-photometer at 278 nm. The CG-CuONPs composite beads can serve as the new promising adsorbent in water treatment applications.
