摘要：Recently, more precisely since the 1980s, we have been testifying a considerable technological breakthrough, more and more automatized apparatus serving Intensive Care Units. However, assumptions and inevitable questions are part of this background. Therefore, I inquired myself: What should be done and how to interact with paradigms in order to meet an urgent and vital need, entirely oriented to the human being? Miths, challenges, cold, inhuman environments still echoe in society concerning Intensive Care Units. That, most of the time, hinders and unmotivate professional relations. However, the lived experience, throughout this process, aims to unfold the secret of human spiritual caring as the ultimate device for the effective implementation of HUMANIZATION in these working settings. Humanizing does not mean the denial or the disapproval of mechanization and automatized resources of therapeutic action, but the adoption of a new attitude, a system which stems from the interaction between humanization and technical superiority rather than a system which stresses state-of-the-art apparatus and facilities. Based on this view, Moscovici (1996) adds: Machines and hearts can work harmoniously as long as they synchronize their beats by the human rhythm.
