摘要：This paper reflect about the meaning of concept quality of life, in the Strategy of the Family Health used by representatives of the Brazils Health Ministry . The 1o Seminário about International Experiencies of the Family Health was the choosed exam, and it was realized in Brasília in 1998, publisd in 1999 and 2000. A theoretical revision was make about of concept quality of life, having writhers like Colby (1987), Lindstrom, Katz (1987), Hinshaw (1992), Kuczynski & Assumpção (1999), Meeberg (1993), Romano (1993),Ware (1987), Pinto et al (1999). Right after, the possibility of the meaning of quality of life, was thought in conformity with the oficials speaches and the ones proposed for the authors. Concluding that there is a omission of one concept that is comum to the teams of health family, take in their profissional pratices, reaching with the objetive of a new model of health atention.
