摘要:This study to refer to the familiar violence, therefore it is a constant in the ambit of the families. Has objective to understand as the violence in the considered family and its factors occurs, with the purpose to get given better to care of the children and adolescents displayed to the risk and/or victim of intrafamiliar violence. The metodologic referencial was the etnográfico; the scene, the ward of Curitiba, whose inhabitants belong to the social classroom C., or either, possess monthly income between 0-5 minimum wages. The instruments of collection of data had been the interview and the participant comment. In the analysis of the data it was possible to identify the following categories: Recognizing as violent, pointing the others as violent, relating the changes of the behavior with the growth of the children, and discussing the sort questions. With the study of these categories and new immersion in the data that had constituted them, it emerged as central subject: Acquaintancing with the violence in the family. The results of this study show that the violence in the family exists under diverse forms, verbal and not-verbal, perceiving that a guarded violence exists that is not express for the informers. These results evidence the necessity of more studies regarding the familiar violence and of programs of continued education, which, must develop during all the stages of the familiar life, with the purpose to lead and to guide the families on the latent and/or manifest violence, so that they can minimize it, promoting the development of the family healthful.
