摘要：When considering the family as first of the identity of beings in development, we have to understand and to know the situations that affect the familiar development. The comunicacional process of the family has been frequently considered in the studies the respect of this subject. Our objective is to understand as the comunicacional process acts on the development of the families. One is about a descriptive study, with qualitative analysis of the data on the basis of the Theory Based on the Data, that study the action social human being and groups by means of discovery of excellent categories and the relations between existing them to leaving of the perspective of the citizens of the study. integrate the research 10 citizens of both sex, inhabitants of some quarters of the city of Curitiba. It was used technique of the interview for the collection of data using itself a script. After readings and re-readings of the gotten information, we construct the following categories: recognizing the importance of the communication , pointing the feeds in the communication , the communication permeated the familiar dynamics , identifying factors that affect the comunicacional process of the family . Articulating the categories and reanalysis them it the light of the gotten data we arrive at the central subject: Thinking on the comunicacional process and the familiar development . The results in showing the importance to them are the comunicacional process for the development of the personality and mental health. It is necessity therefore, that the nurses, as professional of the health area and, in special those that work with the health of the family, they acquire interpersonal ability in accordance with so that they can act together it, the reality of each one, taking it to reflect it on the importance of the comunicacional process.
