摘要：Since 2008 the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) has used handheld devices (Personal DigitalAssistents PDAs) for collecting field data in a digital format. Since PDAs are becoming obsolete and new devicetechnology with improved functionality is available, it wasdecided to develop an Android-based application (app) thatcan be used by many mobile telephones and to test this ondifferent devices during field work in Greenland.
