摘要:The study seeks to understand how during XVI till XIX centuries, young girls were recruited in the matrimonial market in order to sustain and promote the family networks of the Macau residents of Portuguese and Luso-Asiatic origin. This research show how the family network of Portuguese cultural influence was built over time on the basis of nuptial market involving female social subalternity.Key-words: Macau, captives, young women, slaves, Luso-Asiatic, House of Mercy, subalternity.
