摘要：El presente ensayo, intenta re-situar al artista-autor José Alejandro Restrepo en la órbita del pensamiento crítico latinoamericano, vinculando su trabajo con ciertas piezas de la literatura, el ensayo y el arte. Se demuestra cómo su obra se inserta en los discursos del pensamiento postcolonial, entendido como un sistema de “liberación desde dentro”, construye un nuevo régimen de subjetividad que permita repensar no sólo los procesos históricos, sino los nuevos “significados” y sistemas de construcción de memoria de la modernidad tardía.
