摘要：En las artes de América Latina, los temas del indio y de las estéticas indígenas fueron dos preocupaciones que nacieron separadas y esporádicamente se juntaron en el siglo XIX, México y Perú condujeron el movimiento. al principio con criterios ligados al cuadro de historia implantado en la academia decimonónica, y luego, ya en el siglo XX, con el sentido político de reivindicar al indígena e incorporarlo plenamente a la sociedad contemporánea. El proceso evolucionó y desembocó en el planteamiento -propio del movimiento vanguardista- de forjar un arte esencialmente americano basándose en estéticas indígenas.
其他摘要：In Latín American art. thc topic of the lndian and of lndian aesthetics arouse separately and came together sporadically in the 19th century. México and Perú were the leaders of the movement at first, with criteria related lo the historical frame implanted by the 19 century academy. In the 20 century there is a political sense that reivindicates the lndian and incorporates him to contemporary society. This process evolved and led to the idea - peculiar to the vanguardist movement- of forging an essencially American art based on indigenous aesthetics.
