摘要:The aim of this reseach was to improve the students’understanding about farction concept. Besides, students’ moral values was also strengthen in order to be better in the future. This research was a classroom action research. The research design used was Kemmis and Tagart Model with cycles in it and every cycle consists planning, action, observation and reflection. The research instruments consisted of achievement tets, observation and interview lists. The quantitative data as the result of the achievement test were analized by using quantitative deskriptive and observational data as well as interview data were analized by using qualitative descriptive. The research consisted of two cycles; for the first cycle was carried out in two meetings, where as for the second cycle was only one meeting. The research result showed that the teaching-learning of mathematics by the realistic approach which containing moral value, could improve the students’ achievement. The students felt happy absorbing the moral value containing in it and it could be as the basic of character building. The result of the achievement test had the mean 51,42 at the first cycle and 43, 92 at the pre test or prefious test; where as at the second cycle was 75, 85 at the score range of 0 -100.
