摘要：This work presents a brief set of reflections which point out forming elements that have been part of Higher Education in Brazil in the last two decades, considering mainly the context of the organization and structure of College Education in this country, showing its historical changes, the identification of the profile of students who are starting out in this new phase of their education and the relationship of all this with the panorama of Basic Education. The goal is to make possible and real a panoramic vision over the advancements and the challenges that are present when it comes to College Education in Brazil
