摘要:The article presents a study that aimed to examine changes in practices of teaching grammar / linguistic analysis of teachers of early elementary school years. For this, we rely on references linked not only to grammar teaching/linguistic analysis, but also knowledge and teaching practices. The methodology, which was inscribed on a qualitative approach, used as a methodological procedure the semi-structured interview, which was conducted with teachers from public schools in the inner cities of the state of Pernambuco - Brazil. From the support of thematic content analysis, we realize, based on the words of those teachers that, for them, the changes in their teaching grammar / linguistic analysis were related mainly to two aspects: the use of texts and the non-exclusive use of the textbook. However, the testimonies revealed that such changes did not entirely replace the old ways of teaching grammar, but evidenced a complex process in which changes and continuities were articulated.
