摘要：O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o comportamento da matriz variância-covariância dos parâmetros ajustados de uma rede geodésica a partir da configuração geométrica dada pelas suas componentes principais. Compara-se os resultados obtidos com os parâmetros aproximados iniciais e os parâmetros ajustados finais com o intuito de avaliar a influência da estimativa dos valores iniciais em situação de planejamento de redes geodésicas. O teste de esfericidade com os critérios de otimalidade foi aplicado ao conjunto de valores próprios a fim de verificar se a rede sob análise apresenta as características de homogeneidade e isotropismo. Criteria for analysing geodetic network geometry by means of main components Abstract This paper aims at analysing the variance-covariance matrix behaviour of parameters which are adjusted to a geodetic network from geometric configuration obtained by its principal components. The results obtained with the first parameters are compared to the results obtained by the last parameters, aiming at evaluating the estimative influence of the first results in relation to geodetic network. A spherical test with optimization criteria was applied to the group of eigenvalues so as to check whether or not the network under analysis presents characteristics of homogenity and isotropism.
