摘要：http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/1984-9222.2014v6n11p41Este artigo analisa o processo de indiciamento de dois trabalhadores rurais que, após ganharem uma causa na Justiça do Trabalho, junto com outros trabalhadores, passam a ser ameaçados de morte pelo arrendatário do Engenho Matapiruma de Baixo, no município de Escada em Pernambuco. Em face dessas ameaças, o trabalhador Luis Inocêncio Barreto, com o apoio do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores Rurais, peregrina pelos órgãos policiais e militares denunciando o arrendatário. Mas, o que a documentação revela é que estes passam a tratá-lo como subversivo e o arrendatário como vítima. Em seguida, a polícia e o vigia do engenho realizam uma abordagem dos trabalhadores que resultará na morte de um trabalhador e do próprio vigia, além de ferimentos em dois policiais. O artigo analisa, sobretudo, como o delegado responsável pelo inquérito irá alterar sua avaliação do conflito.
其他摘要：This article analyzes the indictment of two rural workers, who afterwinning a case in the Labour Court along with other workers were being threatenedwith death by the tenant of the Mill Matapiruma Low, in the municipality of Escada,Pernambuco. In the face of such threats, the worker Luís Inocêncio Barreto, withthe support of the Rural Workers Union, denounced the tenant to the police andmilitary units. But what the documents show is that these are to treat them assubversive and tenant as a victim. After that, the police and the watchman of themill workers carry an approach that will result in the death of one worker and thelookout itself, plus injuries to two policemen. The article analyzes how the delegateresponsible for the investigating will change its assessment of the conflict.
