摘要：During the 19th Century the civil wars in Colombia took place between armies and guerrillas, in which both soldiers and civil fighters belonged mainly to rural and urban popular sectors. The many refusals to take part in the wars as well as desertions and flights prove how precarious were the political attachments and identification with the republican institutions, all of which shows the high degree of ilegitimacy and rejectement of civil wars and political life among the fighters.
