摘要：This paper presents a study on the concepts of measurement, time and beat during the sixteenth century, taken from books of musical theory and practice of the time in Spain and Europe (Glareanus, Ornitoparchus, Bermudo, Marcos Durán, Santa María ...), with the purpose of clarifying our understanding of the señales indiciales , their meaning changes throughout the century and the internal and external rhythmic structure of the works by Antonio de Cabezón, facing the modern performance of this music.
