Bathymetry and grain-size dates were surveyed and applied to GSTA (Grain-Size Trend Analysis) of Gao (1996), and GSTAST (Grain-Size Trend Analysis with Significant Test) of Chang et al. (2001) models, which vector the sediment transport. The models were considered valid to this study area, since the vectors are in according to transportation pattern showed for the morphotextural characterizations; those indicate the sediment transport from beach to the deeper areas. The application of GSTA was more satisfy, since there are vectorial representations of all the sample stations without away of morphotextrural pattern observed. This work represents a important contribution to grain-size trend analysis study, because show that the application of models can be satisfactory in big dynamic environments and in artificial coasts.
