摘要：O paradigma de pensar o mundo de forma fragmentada, que consolida as ciências modernas nascidas no século XVII, mostra-se, sobretudo a partir da primeira metade do século XX, insuficiente para compreender a complexidade dos fenômenos – sejam eles físicos ou sociais. Uma ecologia dos conhecimentos, hoje em construção, reconhece a multidimensionalidade dos fenômenos e a interconexão entre sistemas, ao mesmo tempo em que reafirma a diversidade cultural e cognitiva como princípios capazes de ultrapassar a “monocultura da mente” e questionar a ocidentalização do planeta.
其他摘要：The paradigm of thinking the world in a fragmented way that permeates the modern sciences born inthe 17th Century, especially from the first half of the 20th Century onward, is unsatisfactory to the understandcomplex phenomena – be them physical or social. An ecology of knowledge, as it is now beingconceived, recognizes the multidimensionality of phenomena and the interconnection among systems,at the same time that it reaffirms both cultural and cognitive diversity as principles capable of surpassingthe “monoculture of mind” and questioning the planet’s Westernization.
