摘要：As características do trabalho em saúde convidam à busca por tecnologias que possibilitem construir formas de entendimento entre as pessoas, valorizando a multiplicidade e respeitando os diferentes protagonistas envolvidos no fazer saúde. Assim, o Construcionismo Social, ao valorizar os efeitos da interação e do processo relacional e dos discursos discidentes, cria espaços que consideram cultura e história locais, oportunizando falar de saúde além da doença. Esse estudo apresenta a Investigação Apreciativa como uma tecnologia para a pesquisa construcionista em saúde, com foco nas descrições apreciativas através da linguagem. Iniciamos contextualizando sua inserção no campo da saúde coletiva, seguindo para a apresentação enquanto modelo metodológico. Na sequência, uma breve relação da Investigação Apreciativa com o trabalho em saúde e para o trabalho em saúde, para então apresentar como podemos aplicar esta tecnologia para fazer pesquisa.ABSTRACT - The characteristics of work in the health area encourages the search for technologies that enable building understanding between people, valuing the multiplicity and respecting the different actors involved in health practices. Thus, Social Constructionism, by enhancing the effects of interaction, relational process and divergent speeches, creates spaces that consider local culture and history, providing opportunities to talk about health beyond disease. This study presents the Appreciative Inquiry as a technology for constructionist research in health, focusing on appreciative descriptions through language. We begin by contextualizing its integration into the public health field, heading for the presentation as a methodological model.
