摘要：AbstractThis paper focuses on the problem of designing linear functional observers for unforced multi-output nonlinear systems. Existence conditions of linear functional observers for a general nonlinear system are provided. The given conditions are necessary and sufficient for the estimation of a single function of states for multi-output systems using a functional observer with linear dynamics and a linear output map. Observer structure for a system satisfying the conditions mentioned is also given. The theoretical results are confirmed by computer simulation.
