摘要:The goal of this paper is to show the transformation of the relationship between psychiatry, psychology and psychoanalysis, in Argentina, in the passage from mental hygiene to mental health, in a four-decade period. The trajec- tory of Enrique Pichon-Rivière, a famous psychiatrist, is highlighted, considering that it illustrates this transformation in an exemplary way. After his beginnings, close to the societies and publications of the mental hygiene movement, he would end up promoting an articulation of the different “psy disciplines” with the social sciences, in a manner that was related to the new ideas stemming from the mental health movement.
