摘要:The objectives of this research are to reveal (1) elementary school principals’ perspectives of Javanese cultural leadership values, (2) Javanese cultural leadership values in their behaviors, (3) the implication of their policy on the Javanese leadership values, (4) the theoretical implication of Javanese leadership values by principals, and (5) the practical implication of Javanese leadership values by principals. This study applied the historical, anthropological, and hermeneutic approaches. The conclusions of the study are as follows. (1) There are similarities and differences in perspectives of Javanese cultural leadership values among the four principals. (2) There are similarities and differences among principals’ behaviors in the application of Javanese cultural leadership values.Keywords: leadership values, javanese culture, elementary school
