摘要：Sustainable development, as an integral part of building an economically rational market, is a challenge which is faced by many branches of the economy. The paper is an attempt to assess the opportunities provided by Industry 4.0 in the process of sustainable development of the furniture industry in Poland, making use of the experiences resulting from the participation of the Author in the project cofunded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union “Curriculum Development of Master’s Degree Program in Industrial Engineering for Thailand Sustainable Smart Industry - MSIE4.0”.
