摘要:AbstractThis paper addresses correctional adjustment in young offenders, seeking to identify the variables associated with it. The study was conducted on a sample of adolescents detained in a Romanian Juveniles Reeducation Centre. Data were gathered using a rating scale completed by prison staff (assessing both institutional behavior and psychopathological symptoms) and a standardized criminological coding form. Data analysis found statistically significant correlations (p < .05) between institutional misconduct and a number of socio-demographic, family, criminological and clinical variables. The results could allow for the development of a prediction model of correctional adjustment in juveniles.
