摘要:AbstractWe examined cultural differences in the frequency of advice, whether the advice was requested or unrequested, and in the amount of social pressure Iranians and Canadians participants felt to take the advice they received. All participants completed a researcher devised questionnaire. Data showed that: a) Collectivist Iranians requested more advice than did Canadians; b) Canadians reported receiving more unrequested advice than did Iranians; C) Individualist Canadians felt more pressure of unrequested advice. Theoretical implications are discussed.
